Its impossible to describe the mixed bag of feelings I have, of joy and of pain, of suffering and of overcoming. Now also added to the bag is a mixture of anticipation...anticipation of going home!

Genuinely confused
This year marketh the culmination of nearly 18 years of continuous study. Yet, the beginning of a lifetime of more. So many contradictions, so many myths conjured, yet so many dispelled. Finishing final year of medicine here really has been a torrent of mixed emotions.
So many experiences, so much heartbreak, yet again so much joy and happiness, moments never to forget, delivering babies, examining women, holding retractors for wounds whilst seniors busy themselves looking for holes amongst the duodenum...
Most of all I think it will be remembered for the friendships forged, the mistakes made and mostly, the person I've been moulded into. Once young, naive and innocent, life's experiences have thus made me rather more wily and slightly more cynical of things.
My only wish is that my job applications could have been this easy to write...
